Route Description
From the port of Jávea you can follow the PR-CV 355 signposted path that first climbs to the Cabo de San Antonio lighthouse and then goes to the Cova Tallada.
It is a long and difficult route of between 16 and 20 kilometers (round trip), so I only recommend it for people who are very fit and used to walking in the mountains, with good footwear.
Además, en verano hace mucho calor y puedes deshidratarte fácilmente.
Before reaching the entrance of the Cova Tallada you will have to overcome a difficult and steep descent.
Then, once at the entrance, there is the usual climb, which is done with the help of chains.
As with the route from Denia, you will have to book in advance to visit the cave.
